Overview :
We are looking for a self-motivated and independent MERN Stack Developer Intern to join our remote team. This is a high-ownership role designed for self-starters who can manage their own tasks and deliver results without constant supervision. You will work on real-world projects, building scalable web applications while enhancing your practical engineering skills.
Responsibilities :
- Build and maintain web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to deliver new features and improve existing ones.
- Identify and fix bugs, work on enhancements, and ensure performance optimization.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint meetings, and daily standups.
- Take full ownership of assigned modules from coding to deployment.
- Research and learn new technologies to solve business challenges.
Requirements :
- Strong foundational knowledge of JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
- Proven ability to work independently with high discipline in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, version control (Git), and deployment processes.
- Good problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
- Portfolio, past project links, or code samples are a strong advantage.
