Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Bangalore, India (Virtual, Travel to office on Need Basis)
Description: You will own the financial heartbeat of our research portfolio—setting up projects in internal systems, forecasting and recognizing revenue with precision, and governing billing, contracts, and subscriptions. As the operational nexus across Delivery, Finance, and Sales Ops, you will translate delivery plans into predictable financial outcomes, strengthen controls, and automate reporting. Your impact will improve forecast accuracy, reduce DSO, and increase margin transparency, enabling faster, data-driven decisions.
The ideal candidate has knowledge of revenue recognition, advanced proficiency in MS Excel, strong project management skills, and experience in data analysis, model development, and secondary research, with exceptional organizational discipline. Knowledge of quantitative research, familiarity with data/statistical analysis techniques, and exposure to financial analysis are desirable.
About the Team:
Research Operations team partners with Sales, Delivery and Finance to scale our client work with rigor and transparency. We standardize processes, enforce contractual compliance, and build reporting that powers executive decision-making. You’ll join a team focused on accuracy, automation, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:

Project Setup & Governance: Configure projects (client, product, pricing, billing, revenue schedules); ensure SOW alignment and data integrity; manage change orders/extensions.

Revenue Forecasting & Recognition: Update weekly/monthly/quarterly revenue forecasts by project/product; validate recognition entries; reconcile forecast vs. actuals and analyze variances; publish Quarterly Revenue by Products and support QB reporting.

Billing & Expenses: Validate project expenses and vendor invoices; approve draft client invoices; manage collections and resolve discrepancies; maintain the Invoice Payment Tracker.

Contract QA: Perform SOW QA at kickoff and change events; maintain SOW Tracker; manage renewals/amendments.

Vendor Subscriptions: Oversee lifecycle (onboarding, renewals, rate/quantity updates, cancellations); validate charges vs. contracts/budget; coordinate with Procurement/AP.

Operational Controls & Reporting: Maintain Invoice/Project/SOW trackers and pricing tool; deliver recurring reports (Quarterly Revenue by Products, Weekly DU, QB, ETC/PIT, Provider Services Friday) and ad hoc analyses within SLAs.

Stakeholder & Risk Management: Serve as primary ops contact; escalate and mitigate risks to revenue, margin, billing, or scope; support audits and documentation.

Preferred Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s in finance, Accounting, Business, or related; MBA or PMP/CPA/CMA preferred, with 2-3 years of experience of which a minimum of 1 + years in finance operations/project management.
