Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant with strong experience in the automotive industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, optimizing cost structures, and supporting strategic decision-making within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:Financial Management & Reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with statutory requirements
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting
Industry-Specific Accounting (Automotive)
- Handle costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis for manufacturing/automotive operations
- Analyze production costs, supply chain expenses, and profitability
- Work closely with operations for cost optimization
Taxation & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations
- Manage tax planning, filing, and audits
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities
Audit & Internal Controls
- Conduct internal audits and strengthen financial controls
- Ensure adherence to company policies and financial governance standards
Accounts & Operations
- Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger
- Ensure accuracy in financial transactions and reconciliations
Strategic Support
- Provide financial insights to support business decisions
- Assist in financial planning, risk management, and investment analysis
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS)
- Expertise in GST, taxation, and compliance
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience in automotive/manufacturing industry (mandatory)
- Exposure to cost accounting and plant finance
- Experience in handling audits and large datasets
