- Monitoring Production or Manufacturing Process: Operations managers supervise and direct the organisation’s operational procedures to ensure they function smoothly and effectively
- Budget Management: Operations managers oversee the organisation’s operational budgets to ensure that the resources are utilised efficiently
- Managing the workforce: Operations managers are accountable for managing and supervising the work of their team, which includes allocating assignments, establishing due dates, and keeping track of performance
- Managing strategic partnerships: They are in charge of looking after a supplier and vendor associations to ensure that they are fulfilling the needs and demands of the organisation
- Risk Assessment and Management: To recognise potential risks and implement preventive measures to reduce them
