Core Responsibilities
- Server Administration – Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers (HIS, LIS, RIS, PACS, EMR, file and application servers).
- Virtualization Management – Manage and monitor virtual environments using VMware (VM creation, snapshots, resource allocation, HA, backup integration).
- Firewall Management – Configure, monitor, and update enterprise firewalls to ensure secure network access, VPN connectivity, and protection from cyber threats.
- Network Infrastructure Management – Configure and maintain Cisco Systems switches, VLANs, routing, and core network architecture.
- Antivirus & Endpoint Security – Deploy and manage enterprise antivirus/endpoint protection solutions across servers and client systems; monitor threats and ensure timely patching.
- Backup & Disaster Recovery – Implement and monitor server backups, test data restoration processes, and maintain disaster recovery plans for critical hospital systems.
- User & Access Management – Administer Active Directory, group policies, role-based access controls, and password policies to ensure data security and compliance.
- System Monitoring & Performance Optimization – Monitor server health, storage utilization, CPU/RAM usage, and network performance; proactively resolve bottlenecks.
- Patch & Update Management – Ensure regular OS, firmware, and security patch updates for servers, network devices, and endpoints.
- Data Security & Compliance – Ensure compliance with hospital data protection standards and accreditation requirements (e.g., JCI/NABH guidelines).
- Email & Communication Systems Management – Maintain email servers (e.g., Microsoft Exchange/365), DNS, DHCP, and domain services.
- Troubleshooting & Incident Management – Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues with minimal downtime, especially in critical areas like ICU, OT, Cath Lab.
- Vendor Coordination – Liaise with ISPs, firewall vendors, server OEMs, and software providers for support, AMC, and upgrades.
- Documentation & Audit Support – Maintain network diagrams, server inventories, SOPs, logs, and audit documentation.
- IT Security Awareness & Support – Conduct cybersecurity awareness sessions for hospital staff and support implementation of IT security policies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
