About Proptra LLP
Proptra is an elite, data-driven proprietary trading firm specializing in US Equity Microstructure. We operate at the intersection of technology and fundamental conviction, focusing on high-spread environments to capture non-toxic alpha. We are currently scaling our Mumbai desk and looking for a "Force Multiplier" to lead our human resources and operational functions.
The Role-
We are not looking for a traditional administrator. We need an HR & Operations Manager who understands that in a trading firm, operational friction is the enemy of performance. You will be responsible for building the team and the environment that allows our traders to achieve excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Talent Acquisition: Own the end-to-end recruitment for our 3-Month Intensive Training Module for recent graduates and experienced traders.
* Operational Management: Act as the "Chief of Staff," managing vendor relations, office infrastructure, and coordinating with global brokers.
* Culture Stewardship: Implement and promote our 5 Core Pillars: Discipline, Integrity, Continuous Learning, Thirst for Success, and Collaboration.
* HR Compliance: Ensure full adherence to Indian employment laws and LLP regulations while maintaining a flexible, high-performance policy framework.
* L&D Coordination: Support our traders' professional growth by managing resources for Python for Finance and Microstructure research.
* Performance Tracking: Design and execute P&L-aligned performance reviews and employee engagement initiatives.
Requirements
* Education: Master’s Degree (Preferred).
* Experience: * HR: Minimum 1 year (Required).
* Payroll: 1 year (Preferred).
* Total Work Experience: 1 year (Preferred).
* Tech-Savvy: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM tools. A curiosity for Python or trading platforms is a significant advantage.
* Mindset: Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work a schedule that aligns with US Market hours (Pre-market/Regular session).
