Mittal International School is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Geography teacher for our Class VIII and XII Humanities sections. The ideal candidate should be fluent in English, with a strong academic background in Geography and CBSE educational experience.
Key Requirements:
Master’s degree (MA in Geography or MPhil in Geography) from a recognized university.
CBSE background (as a student and/or in teaching experience).
Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills.
Ability to teach Geography to Class VIII and XII students, ensuring a deep understanding of physical and human geography concepts.
Strong subject knowledge with the ability to connect geographical concepts to real-world and environmental issues.
Familiarity with project-based learning, research assignments, map work, and geographical analysis techniques.
Preferred Criteria:
Experience working in a CBSE-affiliated school is a must.
Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach to managing classroom and academic activities.
Ability to prepare lesson plans with clear learning outcomes.
