Role Overview:
The Area Manager will be responsible for overseeing the performance, operations, and profitability of multiple cloud kitchen units within the assigned territory. The role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and business acumen to ensure food quality, hygiene compliance, service excellence, and achievement of revenue and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management
· Manage and supervise multiple cloud kitchen locations within the assigned area.
· Ensure smooth day-to-day kitchen operations and adherence to SOPs.
· Monitor food production, dispatch, and delivery performance to ensure service excellence.
· Drive operational efficiency, productivity, and cost optimization initiatives.
· Conduct regular kitchen audits to maintain operational standards.
Business Performance
· Achieve sales, revenue, and profitability targets for the assigned region.
· Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics.
· Identify growth opportunities and implement business improvement strategies.
· Monitor food costs, labor costs, wastage, and operational expenses.
Quality & Food Safety
· Ensure strict compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
· Monitor adherence to FSSAI guidelines and internal quality protocols.
· Conduct routine inspections and corrective action reviews.
· Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and customer experience across all kitchens.
Customer Experience
· Monitor customer feedback, ratings, and complaints across delivery platforms.
· Implement corrective actions to improve customer satisfaction and brand reputation.
· Coordinate with customer service teams to ensure timely resolution of escalations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience
· 5–8 years of experience in food service, QSR, cloud kitchen, restaurant chain, catering, or hospitality operations.
· Minimum 3–4 years of experience managing multiple outlets or kitchens.
· Strong understanding of food safety, kitchen operations, and delivery-based business models.
