Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Layout Engineer to join our hardware design team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth expertise in PCB design and fabrication, with hands-on experience in multilayer, high-speed, and RF board design. The role requires strong technical knowledge, analytical ability, and the capability to independently manage the complete PCB layout cycle from concept to final board delivery. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop complex multilayer PCBs, including high-speed and RF boards, ensuring compliance with electrical and mechanical requirements. Analyze circuit schematics and determine PCB design requirements such as trace width, constraints, routing, impedance control, and length matching. Work with hardware design teams to implement layouts for platforms including ARM processors, FPGAs, and various controllers. Design and optimize high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, DDR4, 1G/10G optical/electrical links, USB 3.0, and MIPI, as well as low-speed interfaces including SPI, I²C, and UART. Execute analog and RF layouts up to 3 GHz; knowledge of mmWave layout design will be an added advantage. Independently handle the end-to-end PCB layout process including library creation, placement analysis, routing, and final board output generation. Collaborate closely with mechanical and fabrication vendors to verify and finalize PCB mechanical designs and ensure manufacturability. Adhere to industry standards and best practices for signal integrity, power integrity, and EMC/EMI compliance. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in PCB layout design using Allegro or Altium Designer. Strong understanding of PCB fabrication and assembly processes. Proven ability to design high-speed, analog, and RF boards with attention to performance, reliability, and manufacturability. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
