About the Role
Unidoc Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and visionary Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to lead the company's clinical strategy and drive innovation in digital healthcare. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, leadership experience, and the ability to collaborate with technology and business teams to build impactful healthcare solutions.
Preferred Location: Ahmedabad. Candidates must be based in Ahmedabad or nearby, as periodic in-office meetings will be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the company's clinical vision and medical strategy.
- Provide medical guidance for digital healthcare products and services.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, ethical standards, and clinical best practices.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to develop clinically relevant healthcare solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with doctors, hospitals, clinics, and healthcare organizations.
- Review and validate medical content, treatment protocols, and clinical workflows.
- Support business development and strategic partnerships from a clinical perspective.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and medical forums.
- Mentor the clinical team and promote a culture of quality, innovation, and patient-centric care.
Requirements
- MBBS is mandatory; MD/MS or other postgraduate medical qualifications are preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of clinical experience with leadership or administrative responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, clinical governance, and quality standards.
- Experience in digital health, hospitals, or healthcare startups is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Must be based in Ahmedabad or nearby and willing to attend office meetings as required.
