The Associate IT Technologist is responsible for developing, configuring, and maintaining IT systems that meet business requirements while adhering to architecture, compliance, and security standards. This role supports the design, deployment, and optimization of technology solutions to ensure system performance, functionality, and data integrity, with a focus on healthcare and life sciences environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, document, and configure system specifications that align with defined architecture standards and business processes.
- Evaluate hardware-software interfaces and operational requirements to ensure system functionality and compatibility.
- Establish and maintain system design parameters, configurations, and formats, considering current and projected capacity and capabilities.
- Identify system performance or functionality issues, implement changes, and test solutions to maintain optimal data handling, integrity, and system efficiency.
- Document system updates, modifications, testing procedures, and maintenance activities.
- Serve as a liaison with technology vendors and other business functions as needed.
- Assess standard platform functionality to determine if customization is required to meet business needs.
- Perform basic maintenance and optimization procedures across primary operating systems.
- Document detailed technical system specifications based on business requirements.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Experience in healthcare and life sciences IT environments.
- Familiarity with systems such as IDX, Salesforce, and SAP is a plus.
- Broad theoretical IT knowledge, typically obtained through advanced education.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply computational thinking to real-world technology solutions.
- Ability to design systems for optimal user experience and accessibility.
