Primary Tamil TeacherJob Summary
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Primary Tamil Teacher to teach Tamil language and literature to primary school students. The candidate should be able to create an engaging, supportive, and interactive learning environment that develops students’ reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Tamil lessons for primary school students.
- Teach Tamil reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and basic literature.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, activities, and teaching materials.
- Use creative and interactive teaching methods suitable for young learners.
- Assess students’ learning through classwork, tests, assignments, and activities.
- Monitor students’ academic progress and provide appropriate support.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Encourage students to develop good communication and language skills.
- Communicate students’ progress and concerns with parents when required.
- Participate in school events, cultural activities, and other academic programs.
- Maintain required academic records and documentation.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and school staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Tamil / Education or a relevant qualification.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Previous experience teaching Tamil at the primary level is preferred.
- Strong Tamil language, reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Good classroom management and student-handling skills.
- Creative, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
- Ability to use basic digital tools for teaching and lesson preparation.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
