Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage product assortments across categories
- Coordinate with production, design, and sales teams for timely execution
- Monitor stock levels and ensure optimum inventory management
- Analyze sales data and market trends to forecast demand
- Maintain vendor relationships and follow up on order status
- Ensure product quality and adherence to brand standards
- Assist in pricing, promotions, and product launches
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in merchandising (apparel preferred)
- Strong understanding of fabrics, trims, and production processes
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic reporting
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of ethnic wear / khadi products
- Experience working with manufacturers and vendors
- Basic understanding of retail or e-commerce operations
