Job Description
We are looking for a technically skilled and service-oriented Kitchen Service Engineer to handle installation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and breakdown servicing of commercial kitchen equipment at hotels, restaurants, hospitals, industrial canteens, cloud kitchens, institutional kitchens, and government facilities.
The candidate should have hands-on knowledge of:
Commercial cooking equipment
Electrical troubleshooting
Gas systems
Refrigeration systems
Exhaust & ventilation systems
Burner servicing
Kitchen utility equipment
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Commissioning
Install and commission commercial kitchen equipment at project sites.
Ensure proper alignment, utility connection, and operational testing.
Conduct trial runs and demonstrate equipment operation to clients.
Breakdown Service & Troubleshooting
Diagnose and repair faults in:
Cooking ranges
Ovens
Steamers
Tilting pans
Exhaust systems
Refrigeration equipment
Dishwashers
Chapati machines
Gas burners
Bain maries
Cold rooms
Troubleshoot:
Burner flame failure
Ignition issues
Thermostat malfunction
Gas leakage problems
Motor and blower failures
Temperature imbalance
Electrical faults
Preventive Maintenance
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance visits.
Inspect equipment performance and safety conditions.
Clean burners, jets, filters, blowers, and duct systems.
Maintain service records and checklists.
Utility & Safety Checks
Verify gas pressure balancing and regulator functioning.
Check exhaust airflow balancing and fresh air systems.
Ensure electrical safety and earthing compliance.
Maintain safety standards during service activities.
Client Support
Attend client complaints and emergency breakdown calls.
Provide technical guidance and user training.
Maintain professional communication with clients.
Documentation
Prepare:
Service reports
AMC reports
Breakdown reports
Spare parts requirement lists
Equipment inspection reports
Warranty claim reports

ITI / Diploma in:

2–6 years experience in commercial kitchen equipment servicing preferred

Salary Range
₹20,000 – ₹60,000 per month

Ability to work independently on site
Good communication and technical reporting skills
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
