We are seeking a confident, articulate, and dynamic News Anchor who can present news with professionalism, credibility, and strong on-camera presence across digital and broadcast platforms.
Job Summary
The News Anchor will be responsible for presenting live and recorded news bulletins, conducting interviews, moderating discussions, and representing the V-News brand across television, digital, and social media platforms. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, strong editorial judgment, and the ability to remain composed during breaking news situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Present live and recorded news bulletins with confidence, clarity, and professionalism.
- Read and deliver news scripts accurately while maintaining editorial integrity.
- Cover breaking news and provide real-time updates with composure.
- Conduct interviews with government officials, industry experts, public representatives, and other guests.
- Moderate panel discussions, debates, and special programs.
- Collaborate with producers, reporters, video editors, and the newsroom team to ensure smooth broadcast operations.
- Participate in editorial meetings and contribute story ideas when required.
- Verify facts before presenting information to maintain credibility and accuracy.
- Represent V-News at public events, press conferences, and special media assignments.
- Record promotional videos, digital content, and social media updates.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the brand image of V-News at all times.
- Stay informed about current affairs, politics, business, sports, entertainment, and international developments.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills in Hindi and English.
- Strong command of pronunciation, diction, and voice modulation.
- Confident and engaging on-camera personality.
- Exceptional interviewing and public speaking skills.
- Strong understanding of journalism ethics and editorial standards.
- Ability to remain calm and accurate during live broadcasts and breaking news situations.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Strong teamwork and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in teleprompter usage and newsroom workflows.
- Basic understanding of digital media and social media platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience as a News Anchor, Presenter, Broadcast Journalist, or Television Host.
- Exceptional freshers with outstanding presentation skills and a strong portfolio may also be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in live news broadcasting.
- Ability to conduct exclusive interviews and panel discussions.
- Knowledge of digital journalism and multimedia content creation.
- Basic understanding of news production and scripting.
- Experience with YouTube Live, OTT, or digital news platforms.

Working Hours
- 6 Days a Week
