Job Summary:
We are looking for a Fabric Merchandiser who can manage fabric sourcing, vendor coordination, order follow-ups, and product development. The candidate should also have knowledge of design software such as Photoshop, Canva, and other graphic tools to create fabric presentations, catalogs, and marketing materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source fabrics and coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
- Manage fabric procurement, sampling, and order execution.
- Follow up on production timelines and ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain records of fabric inventory, costs, and purchase orders.
- Coordinate with design, production, and sales teams.
- Prepare fabric swatches, presentations, and product catalogs.
- Create and edit product images using Photoshop, Canva, or similar software.
- Develop visual content for marketing and promotional activities.
- Monitor market trends, fabric innovations, and competitor activities.
- Ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of fabric sourcing, merchandising, and procurement.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Canva, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and vendor management skills.
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of textile and fabric manufacturing processes is preferred.
Qualification:
- Graduate/Diploma in Textile, Fashion, Merchandising, or related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in Fabric Merchandising or a similar role.
Preferred Candidate:
- Creative mindset with an eye for design and presentation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Experience in fabric manufacturing or textile industry will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹30,372.07 per month
