Job Summary
The Service Advisor is the primary point of contact between customers and the service workshop. The role involves understanding customer concerns, preparing job cards, coordinating with technicians, providing service updates, recommending additional repairs or accessories, ensuring timely vehicle delivery, and delivering an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and understand vehicle service requirements.
- Inspect vehicles and record customer complaints accurately.
- Prepare job cards and explain the estimated cost and delivery time.
- Coordinate with technicians for diagnosis and repair work.
- Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion.
- Update customers on repair status and obtain approval for additional work.
- Recommend genuine spare parts, accessories, and value-added services.
- Ensure quality checks are completed before vehicle delivery.
- Explain the work carried out and billing details to customers.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure prompt resolution.
- Maintain service records and update the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Coordinate with the spare parts department for parts availability.
- Follow Honda service standards and workshop processes.
- Collect customer feedback and work towards improving CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index).
Skills Required
- Good communication and customer handling skills.
- Basic knowledge of two-wheeler mechanics.
- Computer proficiency and DMS knowledge.
- Problem-solving and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery timelines.
- Sales and upselling skills for accessories and preventive maintenance.
Qualification
- Diploma / ITI / Any Degree.
- Experience in automobile service is preferred (Freshers with good communication may also apply).
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
