The Supermarket manager is always responsible for the store activities. He has to be more leading and understanding towards the staffs and customers. He should be updating the staffs about the new promotional activities and marketing processes. He should be always reporting the daily activities to the finance team. His opinion is very important to the management.
The manager should be take the customers a side to understand the feedback and give the right solution.
Following are the responsibilities of the Supermarket manager.
1) The ensure the smooth running of the store at all time.
2) The store has be presentable at all time
3) The staff trainings and meeting has to be done weekly.
4) Timetable for the Staff has to be made as per the duty schedule.
5) The racks and shelves have to be properly maintained and well managed.
6) To inform the staffs about showing professional attitude.
7) Updating the Store and finance on the stock levels
8) Checking on the staffs on any issues or difficulties faced by them.
9) Combining the opinions of the staff and informing the management about this.
10) Keeping the record of the staff attendance register.
11) Checking on the cash takers by doing spot checks.
12) Taking care of customer complaints and relationship.
13) Keep an eye on the staff and customer theft and how to avoid them.
