Key Responsibilities
Layout & Formatting: Design and format multi-page educational documents, question banks, and study materials from scratch.
Template & Style Sheet Creation: Set up master pages, paragraph/character styles, and style sheets to ensure visual consistency across all publications.
Typography & Graphics: Apply excellent typography rules (kerning, leading, font pairing) and integrate diagrams, charts, and mathematical equations seamlessly.
Print & Digital Readiness: Prepare print-ready PDFs and optimized digital files, ensuring zero layout shifts or formatting glitches.
Collaboration: Work closely with content creators and proofreaders to implement layout corrections quickly.
Qualifications & Technical Skills
Software Expertise: Mastery of Adobe InDesign, CorelDRAW, and Adobe Acrobat Professional is mandatory. (Knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator is a plus).
Experience: 2+ years of experience in page layout design, book formatting, or desktop publishing (DTP), preferably in EdTech, Publishing, or Education.
Design Sense: Strong understanding of grid systems, page composition, white space, and corporate style guidelines.
Language Skills: Good understanding of the English language (to process textual layouts accurately) and the ability to communicate/speak basic English with the team.
Good typing speed.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
