Job Summary
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the company's social media strategy to strengthen brand awareness, engage customers, generate leads, and build a strong digital presence across all platforms. The role requires managing end-to-end social media operations, including content planning, campaign execution, community management, performance analysis, paid campaign coordination, and collaboration with internal teams, agencies, influencers, and content creators.
The ideal candidate should possess strong creative thinking, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience in managing social media for consumer brands, manufacturing companies, or B2B/B2C businesses.
Key Responsibilities1. Social Media Strategy
- Develop and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual social media strategies.
- Align social media objectives with business and marketing goals.
- Identify new platform opportunities and emerging trends.
- Build brand awareness among consumers, dealers, distributors, architects, plumbers, contractors, and builders.
2. Content Planning & Calendar Management
- Prepare monthly content calendars across all platforms.
- Plan educational, promotional, product, testimonial, CSR, recruitment, festive, and campaign content.
- Ensure consistency in brand tone, messaging, and visual identity.
- Coordinate with designers, photographers, videographers, and copywriters.
3. Platform Management
Manage the company's presence on:
- Instagram
- Facebook
- LinkedIn
- YouTube
- X (Twitter)
- Threads
- Pinterest (if applicable)
- Google Business Profile
- WhatsApp Business Channels
Responsibilities include:
- Publishing posts, reels, stories, shorts, and videos.
- Scheduling content.
- Maintaining brand consistency.
- Optimizing platform-specific content.
4. Campaign Management
- Execute product launches and promotional campaigns.
- Manage festive and seasonal campaigns.
- Coordinate influencer campaigns.
- Support ATL and BTL marketing initiatives digitally.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to promote dealer schemes and events.
5. Community Management
- Respond to comments, messages, and customer queries promptly.
- Build engagement with followers and industry communities.
- Escalate customer complaints to the concerned departments.
- Maintain a positive online brand reputation.
6. Content Production Coordination
- Coordinate photoshoots and video shoots.
- Plan factory, product, installation, and testimonial videos.
- Organize site visits for content creation.
- Develop scripts and creative briefs.
- Ensure timely content delivery.
7. Performance Monitoring & Analytics
Track and report on:
- Reach

- Cost per Lead (for paid campaigns)

Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports with actionable insights.
8. Paid Social Media Coordination
- Coordinate with digital marketing agencies or in-house teams for paid campaigns.
- Monitor campaign performance and optimize budgets.
- Support lead generation initiatives.
- Ensure effective audience targeting and retargeting.
9. Trend & Competitor Analysis
Monitor:

Benchmark against leading brands in the building materials and plastic manufacturing industry.

- Promote company culture and employee engagement initiatives.

Educational Qualification

Experience
- 4–7 years of experience in Social Media Management, Brand Marketing, or Digital Marketing.
- Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, building materials, consumer durables, or B2B/B2C brands is preferred.
- Experience managing social media teams or agencies is an advantage.
