Role Overview
We're looking for a driven, detail-oriented intern to join our Business Development team — not just to support, but to actively grow into a client-facing role. You'll start with market research and quotation preparation, and as you build product knowledge and confidence, you'll move into direct client conversations and deal closing. High performers will be considered for full-time conversion with an expanded BD role.
Key Responsibilities
- Research prospective businesses (industry, size, digital presence, decision-makers) to identify and qualify leads
- Prepare quotations and proposals using company templates, tailored to each client's requirements
- Engage directly with prospective clients — calls, emails, and follow-ups — to understand requirements and move deals forward
- Own the full lead-to-close cycle for assigned leads as you gain experience, including negotiation and closing
- Track and manage your pipeline to ensure timely follow-ups and no lead falls through the cracks
- Coordinate with design, development, and marketing teams to gather inputs needed for accurate proposals
- Build and maintain market insights — competitor pricing, industry trends, common client objections
Requirements
- Pursuing or completed a degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Comfortable with research — using search engines, LinkedIn, company websites, and industry directories
- Confident on client calls, or willing to be trained and coached to get there quickly
- Working knowledge of MS Office / Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple leads/deals simultaneously
- Prior exposure to international markets, sales, or client-facing roles is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong ownership mindset — someone who wants to close deals, not just prepare paperwork for someone else to close
