Role Description:
We are looking for a Safety Officer (Fresher or up to 1 year of experience) to ensure safe working practices at industrial project sites. The selected candidate will assist in implementing the project's Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements and promote a strong safety culture among the workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Monitor work activities to ensure compliance with safety procedures.
- Ensure proper use of PPE by all personnel.
- Carry out routine safety inspections and identify unsafe conditions.
- Assist in preparing Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Risk Assessments.
- Maintain safety records, checklists, and statutory documentation.
- Report incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts.
- Coordinate with the client Safety Team and Project Manager.
- Support emergency preparedness and fire safety drills.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Industrial Safety, Fire & Safety, or NEBOSH/IOSH-certified equivalent.
- Fresher or up to 1 year of experience.
- Basic knowledge of industrial safety practices.
- Good communication skills in English and Tamil.
- Willingness to work at industrial project sites.
