Job Profile (Accountabilities):
Sets vehicle -level performance targets as Range, dynamics,efficiency,safety
Awareness of emerging EV trends and technologies along with EV regulations
Understanding of dark current strategy
Understanding of IP67 requirements
Exposure to vehicle performance evaluation
Takes inputs from CoEs/PPH for cost and weight optimization against targets
Takes inputs from Validation COE for project risks on performance & reliability
Focus on regulatory compliance and zero validation failures
Technology adoption from R&D to production
Strong technical expertise in EV architecture, dynamics and performance engineering.
Ensures achievement of all system as well as vehicle-level performance targets set, thereby ensuring:
Selecting correct set of benchmarks and deciding FI targets with CFT
Ensures right integration of all the EV systems (Battery, E-axle BMS, inverter,IPDU,VCU,cooling system) with the help of VA&VI
Timely closure of all engg. Decisions with desired quality, optimum cost and minimum deviations
Delivery of Product targets (Performance, Weight, Cost, etc)
Ensure timely completion of technical sign-off by CoEs.
Evaluate feasible engineering solutions for timely closure of all ORCs/concerns raised by all support CoEs /labs
Suggest technical risk mitigation plans to CPH
Ensures all performance trade-offs are in conformance with platform targets:
Solves for performance trade-offs and reallocates performance targets across systems/CoEs that lie within pre-defined limits to ensure that there are no overall Performance deviations
Completes engineering sign-off for project handover to manufacturing/ PVE for Launch

37-40 yrs
Experience:
15 + years of exp of Developing Delivering of Vehicle Programs- Power Train change, Refresh Programs, Regulation driven Program (Domestic and Overseas homolgations)
Specific desirable experiences/ preferred knowledge areas:
CAE Tools, Problem Solving Tools, Homologation, simulation tools
Desirable Competencies:
Vehicle Evaluation
Mfg Processes understanding
Validation (Define /Challenge Validation Requirements)
Virtual Evaluation Tools (DMU ,CAE CFD etc)
Cost Drivers leading to Cost built up
