The Data Entry Operator is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining hospital-related data in the hospital information system (HIS) and other databases. The role ensures timely documentation, confidentiality of patient information, and smooth coordination with various departments in compliance with NABH standards and hospital policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter patient, billing, insurance, and departmental data accurately into the system.
- Verify and review data for errors or discrepancies before submission.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records and hospital information.
- Update and maintain electronic records and databases regularly.
- Generate reports, summaries, and data sheets as required by management.
- Coordinate with departments for collection and clarification of information.
- Ensure proper filing and maintenance of documents and records.
- Assist in preparing statistical reports and audit-related documents.
- Maintain accuracy and timely completion of assigned work.
- Follow hospital policies, NABH standards, and data security protocols.
Qualification:
- Any Degree + Diploma in Medical coding
- Basic knowledge of Hospital Information System (HIS) preferred.
Experience:
- 1–2 years of experience in data entry in hospital is preferred.

Working Conditions:
