Job Title: WordPress Developer
We are looking for a skilled and proactive WordPress Developer with 2–3 years of experience or a proven track record of 15+ website development projects to design, develop, maintain, and optimize attractive, functional, and high-performing websites for our clients.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, including custom WordPress themes, plugins, mailchimps, website maintenance, AMC support, performance optimization, and creating engaging emailers/newsletters.
You should have strong technical expertise, an eye for design, and the ability to deliver user-friendly websites aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain WordPress websites based on client or internal requirements.
- Design responsive and user-friendly website pages and layouts.
- Customize themes, plugins, and website features as needed.
- Manage website back-end, hosting, database, and server integrations.
- Handle AMC website maintenance including updates, backups, bug fixes, and security checks.
- Monitor website performance, speed, and overall functionality.
- Troubleshoot website issues and fix content or technical errors.
- Create and manage HTML emailers, newsletters, and landing pages.
- Coordinate with designers, content, and marketing teams for smooth project delivery.
- Ensure websites are SEO-friendly, mobile-responsive, and delivered on time.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in WordPress development OR successful delivery of 15+ websites.
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer / Webflow Developer.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
- Good understanding of PHP and MySQL.
- Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVN.
- Experience with custom themes development and plugin integrations.
- Hands-on experience with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector / Firebug.
- Good understanding of responsive design and website aesthetics.
- Basic understanding of SEO and website analytics.
- Experience in designing HTML emailers/newsletters.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues quickly.
