Role Overview
Perform Computed Tomography (CT) scans and contrast procedures according to strict safety protocols, clinical specifications, and diagnostic standards to support accurate clinical evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Preparation & Contrast Administration: Prepare and position patients for CT scans, explain procedures to ensure patient comfort, screen for contrast contraindications, and safely administer IV contrast media when required.
- Scan Execution & Technical Operation: Operate advanced multidetector CT scanners, selecting appropriate protocols and adjusting scanning parameters to produce high-resolution diagnostic images.
- Radiation Safety & Compliance: Rigorously enforce ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles and apply radiation protection protocols to safeguard patient and staff safety.
- Radiologist & Clinical Coordination: Review scan image quality, perform necessary 3D/MPR reconstructions, and coordinate directly with radiologists to confirm scan completeness and accuracy.
- Equipment Care & Documentation: Conduct daily quality assurance checks, perform routine equipment calibration, log maintenance records, and immediately report operational issues.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Diploma or B.Sc in Radiology / Imaging Technology from a recognized institution.
- Experience: 1–5 years of hands-on experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital or advanced diagnostic facility.
- Key Skills:
- Strong technical proficiency in operating modern CT scanners and post-processing workstations.
- In-depth understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, CT angiography, and contrast media administration.
- Excellent patient-handling skills, attention to detail, and commitment to radiation safety protocols.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
