Position: Biology Teacher

Job Summary
The Radiant Institute is looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Biology Teacher to teach students from Grades 8 to 12 (CBSE & ICSE Boards). The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to simplify complex biological concepts while preparing students for school exams and competitive exams.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Biology to students of Grades 8–12 (CBSE & ICSE).
- Plan and deliver engaging, concept-based lessons.
- Prepare students for school examinations, board exams, and competitive exams (NEET foundation, where applicable).
- Create worksheets, assignments, tests, and question papers.
- Evaluate answer sheets and provide constructive feedback.
- Monitor students' academic progress and maintain performance records.
- Clarify students' doubts and provide individual attention when required.
- Complete the syllabus within the scheduled timeline.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and parent interactions as required.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Life Sciences, Zoology, Botany, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- B.Ed. is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in CBSE and/or ICSE curriculum is preferred.
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge and teaching skills may also apply.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Biology concepts for Grades 8–12.
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain concepts in a simple and engaging manner.
- Good classroom management skills.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, Google Classroom, online teaching platforms).
- Ability to prepare high-quality study material and assessments.
