Job Description

Bachelor’s Degree in an Information Technology related field.

A minimum of 1 to 4 years’ system administration experience.

Candidates with certifications would be preferred.

Must have an expert level understanding and proficiency in Windows Server Administration including Active Directory and Exchange.

Must be familiar with Networking.
-
Position requires attention to detail and creativity.
-
Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks on multiple projects with multiple people is a must.

Decent communication skills.
Qualifications
Roles and Responsibilities:

Maintain system standards.
-
Monitor the system daily and identify any possible intrusions.
Install new and rebuild existing servers.
-
Defines network policies, procedures and establishes connections & firewalls.

Back up all file systems and system data to the appropriate media.
-
Protects organization by keeping information confidential.
-
Recommend the implementation of new products and meets financial requirements by monitoring expenses and submitting budgets.

Repair/Configure computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals as needed. Identify unresolved hardware and software problems for resolution. Order spare parts or maintenance kits as needed.

Keep documentation of hardware, maintenance, and upgrade or replace hardware and software as needed.

Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required.

Maintain yearly licenses for current software.

Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or management.

Intermediate Linux/Unix skills with exposure to open source technologies

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Documentation of the process and procedures to align the IT organization towards standards
