Job Description – Restaurant Captain
Position: Restaurant Captain

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant service operations to ensure excellent guest experience.
- Lead and guide stewards, F&B associates, and service staff during service hours.
- Welcome guests, assist with seating arrangements, and ensure prompt service.
- Take orders when required and ensure accurate communication with the kitchen and bar teams.
- Monitor food and beverage service standards, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest complaints and service-related issues professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and hygiene standards are maintained.
- Train, motivate, and monitor the performance of service staff.
- Coordinate reservations, special events, and group bookings.
- Prepare daily reports and assist management in achieving sales and service targets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety, and hygiene standards.
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of experience in restaurant or hotel F&B service operations.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant service standards and guest handling.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage service operations efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and billing procedures.
- Hotel Management or Hospitality qualification preferred.
