Job Description: J2EE Technical Architect (Exp: 12+ Yrs).
We are seeking a talented and motivated J2EE Technical Architect to join our team. A key initiative to modernize Java-based microservices, including framework upgrades, authentication & authorization hardening, and cloud migration. The ideal candidate will possess a versatile skill set, combining expertise in Java, Spring Boot, security, and cloud-based environments. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. This is a technical architect role needs to help the in-house team upskill and work along with the broader engineering team.
Experience should have 12+ Years into J2EE backend development with at least 4+ years as an Architect.-
Define, document, and own the end-to-end technical architecture for Java-based microservices modernization initiatives.

Advanced proficiency in Java (8/11/17/21), Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture, including major version upgrade strategies.

Strong expertise in authentication & authorization frameworks (OAuth2, JWT, SSO) and enterprise security/API access-control patterns.

Experience architecting secrets management solutions (e.g., Vault or equivalent) for externalizing hardcoded credentials/certificates.

Hands-on experience migrating applications from legacy platforms to modern container/cloud platforms (Kubernetes, AWS, GCP).

Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and event-driven architectures (Kafka).

Experience with relational (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.

Must have experience with unit and integration testing frameworks (JUnit, Jest).

Architectural Design & Strategy: define, document, and maintain technical architecture frameworks (application software and infrastructure).

Technical Leadership: lead development teams through project lifecycles, ensuring high-quality code and compliance with standards.

Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to development best practices.

Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
