Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented NDT Engineer to carry out non-destructive testing and inspection activities on materials, welds, and structural components. The role ensures product integrity, quality compliance, and adherence to applicable codes and safety standards without causing damage to the tested components.
Responsibilities:
· Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) using UT, RT, MT, PT, and VT methods as per approved procedures
· Conduct inspection of raw materials, weld joints, in-process, and finished components to detect defects or discontinuities
· Interpret and evaluate test results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications (ASME, ASTM, API, ISO, etc.)
· Prepare and maintain accurate inspection reports, test records, and documentation
· Develop, review, and implement inspection procedures, method statements, and test plans (ITP)
· Ensure compliance with client requirements, quality standards, and regulatory guidelines
· Coordinate with production, QA/QC, and client representatives for inspection activities and approvals
· Identify non-conformities and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
· Ensure proper calibration, handling, and maintenance of NDT equipment
· Strictly follow safety procedures, especially for radiographic testing and hazardous environments
· Participate in internal/external audits and client inspections
· Support continuous improvement initiatives in inspection and quality processes
Skills Required:
· Strong knowledge of NDT methods and inspection techniques
· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, weld symbols, and specifications
· Good understanding of international codes and standards (ASME, API, ASTM, ISO)
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· High level of attention to detail and accuracy
· Proficiency in inspection reporting and documentation
· Effective communication and coordination skills
Pay: ₹319,133.77 - ₹1,409,392.69 per year
