Job Summary
The Commi II supports the kitchen operations by assisting in food preparation, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring smooth workflow within the assigned kitchen section. The role requires basic culinary skills, discipline, and adherence to food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in daily food preparation under the guidance of senior kitchen staff
- Follow standard recipes and portion control as instructed
- Ensure cleanliness of the kitchen, workstations, and equipment at all times
- Maintain food hygiene and safety standards as per FSSAI / HACCP guidelines
- Store food items properly and assist in stock rotation (FIFO method)
- Support timely preparation and service of meals
- Report equipment issues or safety concerns to the supervisor
- Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies
- Basic culinary training or certificate in hospitality preferred
- Minimum 2 year experience in a hotel, hospital, or institutional kitchen
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in shifts and under pressure
- Good teamwork and communication skills

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,500.00 per month
