The Finance Process & Systems Head will lead the implementation and stabilization of SHAPE+ (SAP-based) platform across Finance, with a core focus on Accounts Payable (AP), followed by Accounts Receivable (AR) and related reporting processes. This role will act as the bridge between finance operations and system transformation, ensuring end-to-end process excellence, data accuracy, and system adoption across functions and regions. It will drive design governance, testing, training, deployment, and user support for SHAPE+ modules.
To lead the process transformation and SAP SHAPE+ system implementation across core finance modules—starting with AP and expanding to AR and reporting. The role will ensure operational readiness, control adherence, and long-term sustainability of financial processes enabled by SHAPE+.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Finance Transformation & SHAPE+ Leadership

Drive end-to-end implementation of finance modules including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Reporting, and related finance processes.

Govern business blueprinting, solution design, configuration reviews, testing cycles, and deployment activities.

Ensure alignment between business requirements, system capabilities, and global standards.

Drive realization of business benefits through effective adoption and continuous optimization of SHAPE+.
Finance Systems Strategy & Governance

Own the roadmap for finance systems, applications, and technology platforms supporting business operations.

Establish governance frameworks for system enhancements, prioritization, resource allocation, and project execution.

Partner with IT and business stakeholders to define, evaluate, and implement system improvement initiatives.

Ensure system stability, data integrity, security, and scalability to support business growth.

Oversee post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement of finance systems..
Process Excellence & Standardization

Collaborate with global, regional, and local stakeholders to standardize finance processes and align with global best practices.

Drive simplification, standardization, and optimization of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Vendor Management, Reconciliation, and Reporting processes.

Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

Establish process governance, documentation standards, and operating procedures across finance functions.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, service quality, and control effectiveness.
Project Management & Transformation Delivery

Lead finance-related transformation projects from business case development through implementation and benefit realization.

Establish project governance structures, milestones, reporting mechanisms, and risk management frameworks.

Monitor project budgets, timelines, resource utilization, and delivery outcomes.

Ensure effective coordination between Finance, IT, Operations, Procurement, Legal, Treasury, and external partners.

Drive disciplined execution of strategic initiatives supporting organizational transformation objectives..
Change Management & Capability Building

Develop and execute change management strategies to support successful adoption of new systems and processes.

Lead user training programs, capability-building initiatives, and stakeholder engagement activities.

Build a network of change champions across finance and business functions.
-
Ensure availability of process documentation, SOPs, user guides, and training materials.
-
Drive adoption and compliance with new operating models and systems.
Controls, Compliance & Risk Management
-
Ensure financial controls, approval workflows, audit requirements, and compliance standards are embedded within system design and processes.

Partner with Controlling, Audit, Compliance, and Risk Management teams to strengthen governance frameworks.

Drive implementation of system-led controls to reduce manual dependencies and operational risks.
-
Support internal and external audits related to finance systems and process controls.
-
Monitor and mitigate risks arising from process or system gaps.
Reporting, Analytics & Digital Finance

Lead modernization of management reporting through SAP, S/4HANA, Fiori, SAC, and other reporting platforms.

Drive automation of dashboards, KPI monitoring, and business performance reporting.

Improve financial data quality, accessibility, and business insights through technology-enabled solutions.

Support advanced analytics and digital finance initiatives that enhance decision-making capabilities.

Ensure reporting frameworks support business, statutory, and management requirements.
Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Act as the central point of accountability for finance systems and transformation initiatives.

Partner closely with Finance, IT, Operations, Procurement, Treasury, Legal, Shared Services, and external vendors.

Represent Finance in steering committees, governance forums, and strategic project reviews.

Drive alignment between business objectives, technology solutions, and governance requirements.

Foster collaboration and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful project delivery and sustainable outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
Essential:
- Chartered Accountant, CPA equivalent
- Certified in SAP FI/CO, S/4 HANA or equivalent
Experience:

Essential: 10 –12 years of experience in finance transformation or system implementation roles

Preferred: SHAPE+, and other finance application experience.
Technical Skills:

SAP Finance Modules (FI, CO, MM integration, AP/AR processes)
- Finance process mapping and control design.
