Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and self-driven Python Developer to join our team in Indore. You
will play a key role in supporting and extending our high-scale backend optimization platform
and rule-based generation engine. This position involves working on asynchronous processing,
data validation, scheduling logic, and performance-critical backend services in a production environment.
You will collaborate closely with our Technical Directors/Architects on systems handling parallel
workloads, complex business rules, and external API integrations.
Key Skills Required (Mandatory)
- Python: Strong hands-on experience with production-grade development
- FastAPI: Deep expertise in building high-performance async APIs
- Pandas: Strong experience in data processing, transformation, and analysis
- Databases: Proficient in SQL Server
- SQL: Advanced skills in query optimization, stored procedures, and performance tuning
Preferred Skills (Advantageous)
- Django: Experience building scalable web applications
- MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
- AWS Cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, ASG, Load Balancers)
- Docker and containerization
- CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Redis or other caching solutions
- Message queues (Celery)
Roles & Responsibilities
- Write clean, modular, and maintainable Python code following industry best practices
- Implement comprehensive error handling, logging, and monitoring
- Develop and maintain asynchronous tasks and background job processing
- Design and implement frequency-based systems using datetime and recurrence rules
- Handle edge cases, timezone conversions, and calendar-based scheduling
- Ensure idempotent execution and data consistency across distributed systems
- Design efficient database schemas and relationships
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions
- Implement bulk operations and manage transactional integrity
- Work with both relational (SQL Server, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases
- Ensure data consistency, validation, and efficient storage patterns
- Integrate with Google API for location-based calculations and route optimization
- Extract and process geolocation data for distance and travel time computations
- Handle API rate limits, caching strategies, and error scenarios for location services
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in live production environments
- Improve system stability, reliability, and fault tolerance
Eligibility & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or related field
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Python development
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Good communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to take ownership of modules and deliver independently
- Comfortable working from the office in Indore
