Job Summary
We are looking for a customer-focused and detail-oriented Front Office & Billing Executive to manage patient registrations, appointments, billing, and overall front desk operations. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, basic computer knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient service.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Register new patients and update patient records accurately in the Hospital Information System (HIS).
- Schedule, reschedule, and manage patient appointments.
- Generate consultation, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, and health package bills.
- Collect payments through cash, UPI, cards, and other digital payment modes.
- Ensure accurate billing, receipts, and daily cash reconciliation.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, laboratory, and other departments for smooth patient flow.
- Handle patient inquiries, phone calls, emails, and WhatsApp communications professionally.
- Verify insurance/TPA details and support cashless processing where applicable.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with organizational policies.
- Achieve high standards of patient satisfaction through excellent customer service.
- Assist in promoting preventive health check packages and other clinic services.
- Perform other administrative tasks assigned by the Clinic Manager.
Eligibility
- Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in Front Office, Reception, or Billing, preferably in a hospital or clinic.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and Hospital Information Systems (HIS).
- Strong numerical and billing accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and team spirit.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in healthcare, hospitals, diagnostic centers, or clinics.
- Knowledge of insurance/TPA billing is an added advantage.
Working Hours
As per clinic operational timings and rotational shifts.
