About the Role:
ACE Engineering College is looking for a Lab Technician to support its Electronics & Communication Engineering department — maintaining lab equipment, assisting with practical sessions, and helping faculty with lab-related academic activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, calibrate, and maintain ECE lab equipment (CROs, function generators, power supplies, microcontroller kits, communication trainers, VLSI/embedded tools, etc.)
- Assist faculty and students during practical sessions across subjects like Analog/Digital Electronics, Communication Systems, Microprocessors, Embedded Systems, and VLSI
- Maintain inventory and stock records of components, tools, and consumables
- Prepare lab manuals and experiment setups ahead of scheduled sessions
- Ensure lab safety protocols and cleanliness are followed
- Support exam/viva and project demonstration setups
- Troubleshoot minor circuit/instrument issues
- Maintain equipment usage logs and coordinate with stores for procurement
Qualifications:
- Diploma or B.Tech in ECE or a related field
