Job Title: Lab Attendant

Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Lab Attendant to support day-to-day laboratory operations by maintaining cleanliness, organizing samples, assisting lab personnel, and ensuring proper handling of equipment and materials. The candidate will play an important role in maintaining hygiene, safety, and efficiency within the laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the laboratory, including workstations, equipment, glassware, and storage areas.
- Wash, sterilize, and arrange laboratory glassware, utensils, and instruments as per required standards.
- Assist lab technicians and analysts in sample collection, labeling, storage, and disposal.
- Ensure proper arrangement and inventory of chemicals, reagents, consumables, and laboratory supplies.
- Support in preparing testing materials, sample containers, and documentation as instructed.
- Handle disposal of waste materials, chemical waste, and used samples following safety and compliance guidelines.
- Maintain records of stock movement and inform the supervisor regarding replenishment requirements.
- Assist in calibration preparation and basic maintenance of laboratory instruments under supervision.
- Follow laboratory safety protocols, hygiene standards, and company SOPs at all times.
- Support audits, inspections, and documentation preparation when required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum qualification: Higher Secondary / 12th Pass or equivalent.
- Diploma or certification in laboratory practices is preferred.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience as a Lab Attendant, Lab Helper, or similar role.
- Experience in food, dairy, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing laboratory environments will be preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Basic understanding of laboratory hygiene and safety standards.
- Ability to handle samples and chemicals carefully.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Basic record-keeping ability.
- Team player with a disciplined and responsible attitude.
Working Conditions
- Willingness to work in shifts
- Ability to stand for long hours and handle routine physical tasks within the laboratory.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
