We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Engineer with a strong background in automotive and manufacturing industries. The ideal candidate will drive supplier sourcing, cost optimization, vendor development, and technical sourcing for engineering components.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers for engineering components.
* Lead supplier selection, vendor assessments, and sourcing activities.
* Perform cost analysis, target costing, and commercial negotiations.
* Support new product development through supplier collaboration.
* Analyze supplier quotations and prepare negotiation reports.
* Evaluate manufacturing processes, cycle times, and machine selection.
* Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements.
* Work with SAP/ERP and sourcing tools to manage procurement activities.
Requirements:
* B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
* 6-10 years of sourcing experience in Automotive, Tractor, T&O, or Manufacturing.
* Strong knowledge of sheet metal, plastics, rubber, machined components, and assemblies.
* Excellent analytical, negotiation, and supplier management skills.
