The role involves working across robot hardware, software, networking, automation systems, and customer operations to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient functioning of integrated solutions in real-world environments.
Required Skills & Experience - Hands-on experience with mobile robots / AMRs, preferably in deployment or integration roles. - Familiarity with ROS1 - Understanding of Navigation/localization (SLAM, costmaps, sensor fusion). - Basic networking (IP, subnets, Wi-Fi reliability, VPNs) and system integration (MQTT, OPC-UA, etc.). - Experience with sensors commonly used on AMRs: LiDAR, cameras, IMUs, encoders. - Linux proficiency (shell, scripting, diagnostics). - Ability to read and validate electrical/mechanical interfaces (e.g., verifying power, encoder signals, communication buses like CAN/Ethernet). - Strong troubleshooting methodology (logs, metrics, repeatable reproduction of issues). - Good communication skills for cross-functional coordination and customer-facing work.
