Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented professional to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of footwear products. This role combines design innovation, merchandising strategy, production coordination, and marketing execution to deliver high-quality products aligned with market trends and brand identity.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Footwear Design:
- Research current fashion trends, materials, and consumer preferences.
- Create innovative footwear designs, sketches, and technical specifications.
- Develop prototypes and collaborate with sample teams for product development.
- Ensure designs meet aesthetic, functional, and cost requirements.
2. Merchandising:
- Plan and develop seasonal product lines based on market analysis.
- Work closely with buyers and sales teams to forecast demand.
- Maintain product assortment, pricing strategies, and inventory levels.
- Monitor competitor activities and industry trends.
3. Production Management:
- Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure timely production.
- Oversee quality control processes and ensure compliance with standards.
- Manage production timelines, costing, and material sourcing.
- Resolve production issues and ensure efficient workflow.
4. Marketing & Promotion:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create product campaigns and branding strategies.
- Assist in product launches, photoshoots, and promotional activities.
- Develop content for digital platforms including social media and e-commerce.
- Analyze market feedback and sales data to improve product performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Footwear Design, Fashion Design, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of footwear construction, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Creative thinking with strong design and visualization skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Understanding of merchandising and marketing principles.
Experience:
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in footwear design, merchandising, or production.
