Position Summary
Tiara Infrastructure Ltd. is seeking an experienced Tendering Team Leader to lead the tendering and estimation function for foundation engineering, piling, sheet piling, ground improvement, and construction equipment rental projects. The role involves identifying tender opportunities, preparing competitive techno-commercial bids, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring timely submission of high-quality proposals.
Key Responsibilities
Tender Identification
Monitor Government, PSU, EPC, and private sector tender portals. Identify suitable opportunities aligned with the company's capabilities. Review tender documents, BOQs, drawings, and technical specifications. Maintain a tender pipeline and submission calendar.
Bid Preparation
Prepare technical and commercial proposals. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, operations, finance, and legal teams. Compile pre-qualification documents, credentials, project experience, and compliance documents. Ensure bids meet client requirements and submission deadlines.
Commercial & Contract Review Review contract terms and commercial conditions. Identify contractual risks and exclusions. Participate in price negotiations and bid clarification meetings. Support contract finalisation after award.
Team Leadership
Lead and mentor the tendering and estimation team. Allocate responsibilities and monitor progress. Conduct quality checks before bid submission. Develop standard templates and estimation procedures.
Vendor & Supplier Coordination Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Evaluate commercial offers and negotiate rates. Maintain a database of approved vendors and historical cost data.
Reporting Prepare and submit: Daily Tender Status Reports Weekly Bid Pipeline Reports Monthly Win/Loss Analysis Cost Benchmark Reports Management MIS Reports
Required Skills
Expertise in EPC tendering and estimation Strong understanding of BOQ analysis and rate analysis Knowledge of foundation engineering and piling methods Commercial negotiation and contract management Excellent analytical and organisational skills Leadership and team management Strong communication and presentation skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and ERP systems

Educational Qualification B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (preferred) M.Tech or MBA (Project Management/Operations) is an advantage.
Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in EPC and civil infrastructure tendering, a strong understanding of foundation engineering and construction costing, and a proven ability to prepare winning techno-commercial bids. The candidate should be capable of leading a tendering team, managing multiple bid submissions simultaneously, and contributing directly to the company's revenue growth and project pipeline.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹57,695.32 per month
