A Boys Hostel Warden oversees the daily operations, safety, and discipline within the residence. They act as a mentor, enforce institutional rules, and manage the facility's infrastructure to ensure a secure, hygienic, and conducive living environment for students.
Key Responsibilities
- Administration & Operations: Manage room allotments, maintain occupancy records, and handle day-to-day hostel operations.
- Discipline & Code of Conduct: Enforce curfews, monitor student behavior, and resolve conflicts.
- Safety & Security: Supervise entry/exit logs, prevent unauthorized guests, and implement emergency protocols.
- Health & Hygiene: Conduct routine inspections of rooms, washrooms, and common areas. Coordinate with cleaning and maintenance staff for timely repairs.
- Mess Supervision: Monitor the quality of food, dining hygiene, and address student grievances regarding catering.
- Student Counseling: Serve as a local guardian, mentor, and guide to support students' personal and academic needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Postgraduate or degrees in Hospitality/Education are often preferred).
- Experience: 3-7 Years prior experience in residential life, student affairs, or hostel administration.
- Skills: Strong leadership, conflict resolution, crisis management, and excellent communication abilities.
Pay: From ₹35,000.00 per month
