Job Description – Interior Designer
Ar. Parijat Misra is a leading Architectural & Interior Designing firm based out of Mumbai.

We are looking for an artful Interior Designer to undertake a variety of space designing projects. You will deal with design from conceptual development and liaising with the stakeholders to managing and executing the design.
The goal is to design practical spaces but yet visually pleasing.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Undertake design project from concept to completion
· Define project requirements and schedule during the “brief”
· Interpret and translate customer needs into rough plans
· Produce Detailed drawings using computer aided CAD software
· Set costs and project fees according to budget
· Research and decide on materials and products sourcing
· Produce “sample” and “mood products”
· Supervise work progress
· Work closely with designers, decorators, architects and constructors
· Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new materials, and emerging technologies to incorporate into designs
· Research and follow industry changes, evolutions and best practises
Qualification:
· Bachelor in Interior Designing or a Master in Interior Designing degree
· 6+ years of graduate / post-graduate, professional firm experience
Skills:
· Proficient in AutoCAD
· Expertise in hand drawing and designing, including colour rendering
· Excellent written, verbal, and visual communications and presentation skills
· Strong design and graphics skills
· Ability to multi task and work well under deadlines
· Deadline-driven and dedicated to excellence.
