Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Scheduling
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders, forecasts, and capacity.
- Develop machine‑wise and mould‑wise production schedules for injection moulding machines.
- Ensure optimal utilization of machines, moulds, and manpower.
- Coordinate changeovers to minimize downtime and improve productivity.
Material Planning & Control
- Plan and monitor raw material (plastic granules, master batches, additives) requirements.
- Coordinate with Stores and Purchase for timely availability of materials.
- Control WIP and finished goods inventory as per production plan.
- Monitor material consumption vs standards and highlight variances.
Coordination & Follow‑up
- Liaise with Production, Quality, Tool Room, Maintenance, Stores, and Dispatch teams.
- Follow up on production progress and take corrective actions for delays.
- Coordinate mould availability, trials, and breakdown recovery with Tool Room and Maintenance.
Production Control & Monitoring
- Track actual vs planned production and analyze deviations.
- Monitor rejection levels and coordinate with Quality for corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to FIFO, batch traceability, and lot control.
Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain production records, schedules, and MIS reports.
- Prepare reports on:
- Production efficiency
- Machine utilization
- Delivery adherence
- Rejection and downtime
- Update ERP / Excel-based planning systems regularly.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve cycle time, changeover time, and productivity.
- Support implementation of Lean, 5S, TPM, and Kaizen initiatives.
- Assist in capacity planning and new product launch planning.

- On‑time delivery (OTD)
- Schedule adherence
- Machine utilization %
- Inventory turnover
- Rejection and rework levels
- Production plan vs actual achievement
Qualifications & Experience
- Education:
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Plastics, or Production Engineering
- Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in PPC or Production Planning
- Mandatory exposure to Plastic Injection Moulding industry
Technical Skills Required
- Strong understanding of:
- Injection moulding processes
- Cycle time, cavitation, mould changeovers
- BOM and routing
- Proficiency in:
- MS Excel (advanced level preferred)
- ERP / SAP / Oracle or any manufacturing ERP
- Knowledge of ISO / IATF systems (preferred)

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
