Job Summary
The Quality Executive is responsible for supporting the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the hospital's Quality Management System (QMS). The role ensures compliance with NABH standards, statutory and regulatory requirements, patient safety goals, and internal quality policies. The Quality Executive works closely with clinical and non-clinical departments to drive quality improvement initiatives and promote a culture of excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing and maintaining the hospital's Quality Management System (QMS).
- Ensure compliance with NABH accreditation standards, statutory regulations, and hospital policies.
- Conduct internal quality audits and departmental inspections as per the audit schedule.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), quality indicators, and patient safety metrics.
- Collect, analyze, and prepare quality reports, dashboards, and management review data.
- Coordinate incident reporting, root cause analysis (RCA), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and follow-up activities.
- Support infection control, patient safety, risk management, and clinical governance initiatives.
- Coordinate departmental quality meetings and maintain quality-related documentation and records.
- Assist in the preparation and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and clinical protocols.
- Conduct orientation and quality awareness training programs for hospital staff.
- Monitor patient feedback, complaints, and satisfaction surveys, and support service improvement initiatives.
- Participate in NABH accreditation and surveillance audits, ensuring documentation readiness.
- Ensure timely closure of non-conformities identified during audits and inspections.
- Coordinate quality improvement projects across departments.
- Maintain confidentiality of quality records and patient information.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Quality Manager or Hospital Administration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Nursing, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related healthcare field.
- Master's degree in Hospital Administration (MHA), Healthcare Management, or Quality Management is preferred.
- NABH Internal Auditor or Quality certification is an added advantage.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in hospital quality management, accreditation, or healthcare quality.
- Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications and internship experience in hospital quality may also be considered.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of NABH standards and quality management principles.
- Understanding of patient safety, infection prevention, and risk management practices.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Hospital Information Systems (HIS) is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct audits and prepare quality reports.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
