Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Academic Counsellor / Senior Academic Counsellor to guide prospective students in selecting suitable Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programs. The ideal candidate should have experience in UG & PG admissions counselling, excellent communication skills, and the ability to convert student enquiries into successful admissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programs, admission procedures, eligibility criteria, and career opportunities.
- Understand students' educational background and career aspirations to recommend suitable programs.
- Handle the complete admission process, from enquiry generation and counselling to enrolment.
- Conduct counselling sessions through phone, virtual meetings, and face-to-face interactions.
- Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into admissions.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions in the CRM system.
- Coordinate with admissions and academic teams to ensure a smooth admission process.
- Participate in admission drives, education fairs, seminars, webinars, and outreach activities.
- Achieve monthly admission and conversion targets.
- Stay updated on program offerings, admission policies, and industry trends.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Graduate (Bachelor's degree) in any discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 6 months of experience in academic counselling, admissions counselling, or educational sales.
- Experience in counselling students for Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programs is preferred.
- Excellent communication, counselling, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
