Job Summary
The Sales Executive is responsible for generating business opportunities, making outbound calls to prospective customers, preparing quotations and work orders, maintaining customer relationships, and achieving monthly sales targets. The primary objective of the role is to generate a monthly sales revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, follow-ups, and customer visits.
- Make daily sales calls to potential and existing customers.
- Identify customer requirements and offer suitable products and solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Prepare and submit quotations to customers.
- Follow up on quotations and convert inquiries into orders.
- Generate work orders and coordinate with the Operations, Production, and Dispatch teams for order execution.
- Ensure timely processing of customer orders and deliveries.
- Achieve a minimum monthly sales target.
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals set by management.
- Track sales performance and prepare daily/weekly sales reports.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests.
- Maintain regular communication with customers for repeat business.
- Collect customer feedback and coordinate internally for improvements.
- Maintain records of leads, inquiries, quotations, and orders.
- Update CRM/ERP systems with customer and sales information.
- Submit daily call reports and sales activity reports to management.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline.
- 1–5 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Customer Relationship Management.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, Elevator, Electrical, or Industrial Products industry will be preferred.
