Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Hardware and Networking Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the organization’s hardware, network systems, and ensuring uninterrupted technical operations. This role involves installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and support of both hardware and networking systems across the office.
Responsibilities:
· Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, servers, routers, switches, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and firewalls.
· Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, network, and connectivity issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
· Monitor network performance and ensure optimal uptime and security.
· Handle system backups, antivirus installation, and software configuration.
· Maintain and manage IP allocation, cabling, and system inventories.
· Perform periodic maintenance and updates for all IT infrastructure.
· Coordinate with vendors for AMC, procurement, and repairs of hardware/networking equipment.
· Ensure data security protocols, access control, and IT compliance standards are followed.
Requirements:
· 1–3 years of experience in hardware support and networking roles.
· Solid knowledge of network protocols, LAN/WAN configurations, IP addressing, and subnetting.
· Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and structured cabling.
· Good understanding of operating systems (Windows/Linux), antivirus, and endpoint security.
· Hands-on troubleshooting skills for both hardware and network issues.
· Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and IT ticketing systems is a plus.
· Strong communication and documentation skills
Educational Qualification
· Diploma or Degree in Computer Hardware, IT, Electronics, B.Tech (CS/IT), BCA, or equivalent.
· Certification in hardware & networking (like CompTIA A+, CCNA, etc.) is a plus
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
