Wind Turbine Performance Analysis will be responsible for centralized monitoring, performance evaluation, and operational analysis of wind power plants across the portfolio. The role focuses on real-time turbine monitoring, SCADA analytics, generation loss analysis, fault diagnostics, KPI tracking, and coordination with O&M, Asset Management, and OEM teams to maximize turbine availability, reliability, and energy generation.
-
Monitor wind turbine generation, availability, capacity factor, and operational performance through SCADA and monitoring platforms.
-
Perform detailed generation loss analysis including grid outages, turbine downtime, yaw misalignment, pitch system issues, curtailment, high wind cut-out, low wind conditions, and OEM-related losses.
-
Analyze wind speed, wind direction, air density, turbulence intensity, and meteorological mast/LiDAR data to evaluate turbine performance against power curves.
-
Conduct turbine-wise and wind farm-wise benchmarking to identify underperforming assets.
-
Monitor gearbox, generator, converter, hydraulic, pitch, yaw, transformer, and blade health indicators for degradation trends.
-
Track KPIs including Availability, Technical Availability, PLF, Capacity Factor, Energy Yield, Specific Generation, and MTBF/MTTR.
-
Validate SCADA, turbine controller, and meter data; identify communication failures and data gaps.
-
Monitor contractual KPIs, OEM guarantees, and SLA compliance.
-
Support performance improvement initiatives through optimization of turbine settings and operational strategies.
-
Prepare performance deviation reports with root cause analysis and corrective action recommendations.
-
Conduct predictive performance analysis using historical trends, alarms, vibration, temperature, and condition monitoring data.
-
Coordinate with O&M, Asset Management, and OEM teams for timely resolution of performance issues.
-
Evaluate effectiveness of preventive and corrective maintenance through post-maintenance performance analysis.
-
Provide first-level technical support for wind turbine operational issues.
-
Coordinate with site O&M teams and OEMs for fault diagnosis and resolution.
-
Monitor turbine alarms, breakdowns, grid disturbances, and critical operational events.
-
Track incident closure, root cause analysis (RCA), and implementation of corrective actions.
-
Prepare Daily Generation Reports (DGR), Monthly Performance Reports, MIS dashboards, and fleet performance summaries.
-
Coordinate with O&M, Asset Management, OEMs, Grid Operations, and Engineering teams.
-
Present fleet performance trends, reliability analysis, and operational insights to management.
