Job Summary
We are looking for Field Support Engineers to provide on-site IT support for desktops, laptops, network devices, printers, and peripherals. The role requires extensive travel within the assigned location and hands-on troubleshooting of hardware and network-related issues.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesktop & Laptop Support
- Installation and configuration of desktops, laptops, and workstations.
- Hardware troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
- Replacement of RAM, HDD/SSD, motherboard, keyboard, battery, display, adapters, and other hardware components.
- Operating System installation, upgrades, and configuration.
Network Support
- Basic troubleshooting of LAN/WAN connectivity issues.
- Support and configuration of switches, routers, and access points.
- Cable tracing, patching, and network port activation.
Printer & Peripheral Support
- Installation and troubleshooting of printers, scanners, webcams, and other peripherals.
- Coordination with OEM vendors for warranty and service support.
Field Support
- Attend on-site service calls at customer locations.
- Ensure timely resolution of hardware and network-related issues.
- Maintain service reports and update call status as required.
- 100% field travel required within the assigned area.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.
- 6 Months – 2 Years of experience in IT Hardware/Desktop Support.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts and devices.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively for field support activities.
